How does individual therapy work?
The experience of individual therapy is different for everyone. However, the process remains the same. From the time you enter therapy, our first step is to define the goal(s) you would like to work towards. From there we will set a treatment plan, that will identify the steps we will take to help you achieve your goals. Throughout this process, we ask questions about your journey and meet you where you are emotionally and spiritually, and focus on your unique goals.
Therapy is not considered a place for advice but rather a safe place to process your emotions, thoughts, and actions to help you achieve your ultimate goal.
